Job summary

IQVIA in Pune is seeking Analytics Consultants with 2.5 to 5 years of experience to work in a hybrid mode. The role involves collaborating with onshore teams to develop solutions by leveraging diverse data sources to support sales and marketing decisions.

You will drive analyses from problem formulation to delivery, and present findings to clients in an engaging manner. The position requires strong pharma analytics knowledge, Python/SQL proficiency, and the ability to mentor junior teammates.

Qualifications

• Experience in US Healthcare/Pharma analytics with exposure to claims or sales data.
• Strong communication and client-facing consulting skills.
• Ability to mentor juniors and manage multiple workstreams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and apply advanced statistical models that help clients understand dynamic business issues
• Develop promotion response models that relate promotion and product sales
• Build simulation models using Excel/VBA, SAS, Alteryx Visual Basic and Excel and other tools to assess the effects of sales and marketing programs based on different permutation / combinations
• Synthesize and communicate results to clients and 159 teams through oral and written presentations
• Develop client relationships and serve as key point of contact on aspects of projects
• Create project deliverables and implement solutions
• Assist with creation of PowerPoint slides and online visualization (e.g. Tableau, Qlik, Sisense etc.) to communicate findings
• Advance analytics knowledge base and assist with new capabilities development
• Mentor junior associates and assist with multiple work streams to deliver high quality deliverables on time

Project Role: Analytics Consultants

Job Overview:

Analytics Consultants work with onshore team and India managers to create custom solutions by leveraging disparate data sources to support sales and marketing decisions. Consultants will be responsible for substantial portion of analyses from problem formulation to solution creation and engaging with clients to help them understand the implications and make plans to act on them.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and apply advanced statistical models that help clients understand dynamic business issues

Technical/Required Skills:

• Domain Knowledge: Experience in US Healthcare/Pharma/life sciences commercial analytics; Claims or Sales data exposure (Any of IQVIA LAAD, SHA, XPO, OneKey, SP/SD/Hub).
• Analytics Capabilities: Any of the area expertise (Segmentation & targeting, Incentive Compensation, Patient journey/Line of Therapy/Persistency, Reporting, Forecasting)
• Technical Skills: Extensively work on Advanced Excel, SQL, Python, PowerPoint (client-ready decks).
• Data & Automation: Ability to manage and analyze large datasets end-to-end.
• Consulting & Client Skills: Problem solving, structured thinking, strong communication, onshoreoffshore collaboration.
• Leadership: Mentor juniors, own workstreams and deliver on time.
• Tech Ecosystem: Comfortable with standard analytics stack

Good to have Skills/Experience:

• Multi-therapy experience (Oncology, Vaccines, Specialty TAs).
• Marketing Mix Modeling, Test-Control Analyses, Predictive / Prescriptive Analytics.
• VBA automation, R, Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx.
• Fully automated pipelines, workflow optimization
• Acting as client POC, stakeholder management.
• Manage small teams.
• AWS / Git / cloud exposure
