Opportunity Overview

As a Data Scientist, you are expected to manage onshore / client communication and mentor a team of analysts. Advanced data analytics/sciences Senior consultant designs and implements analyses on patient level data or similar datasets.

What You'll Work On

• Partner with a cross-functional team to conceive novel AI/ML solutions for pharma.
• Own the Proof-of-Concept phase: build prototypes, validate impact, and present early wins.
• Build production ready models by integrating analyses with intuitive front- and back-ends.
• Turn custom AI/ML models and analyses into reusable “products” for pharma clients.
• Serve as the point of contact- no offshore/onshore handoffs. You’ll gather requirements & build solutions.
• Translate complex analytics into clear, actionable insights that drive client decision‑making.
• Ensure quality checks, documentation, and version control for reporting deliverables.

Requirements

• 1. Bachelor’s or master’s in engineering (STEM background).
• 2. Pharma / life science consulting job experience (US/Ex-US).
• 3. 2-4 years’ experience in decision sciences or data science consulting role.
• 4. Experience with LAAD, DDD, NPA, XPONENT & Promotional Datasets.
• 5. Deep understanding of healthcare datasets, and business workflows (Commercial datasets).
• 6. Expert in Python, SQL, and Excel; familiarity with R-Studio and Auto-ML tools is a plus.
• 7. Prior experience in building production grade AI Agents is preferred.
• 8. Ability to select the right statistical framework for unstructured business problems.
• 9. Exceptional oral and written communication – crisp and persuasive for technical and non technical leaders.
• 10. Self-starter, detail-oriented and passionate about quality and innovation.
