Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Conduct Lung Tests: Spirometry, DLCO, body plethysmography, and 6-minute walk tests.
• Guide and coach patients during breathing exercises to ensure accurate results.
• Maintain and calibrate PFT machines and equipment daily for quality control.
• Prepare precise test reports and submit to the attending Pulmonologist.
• Monitor patient vital signs and oxygen levels for safety during testing.

Role & responsibilities

• Conduct Lung Tests: Perform diagnostic tests including Spirometry, DLCO (Diffusion Capacity), Body Plethysmography, and 6-Minute Walk Tests.
• Guide & Coach Patients: Instruct and encourage patients during breathing exercises to ensure accurate, high-quality test results.
• Equipment Maintenance: Perform daily calibration, cleaning, and quality control checks on PFT machines and equipment.
• Report Generation: Compile precise numerical and graphical test reports and submit them to the attending Pulmonologist.
• Patient Safety: Monitor patient vital signs and oxygen levels during testing to ensure patient comfort and safety.

Preferred candidate profile

• Diploma or B.Sc. in Respiratory Therapy, Cardiovascular/Pulmonary Technology, DMLT/BMLT.
• Fresher & Experience Both can Apply.
