Description

• To perform routine pulmonary function tests & Sleep Studies on patients.
• To get the PFT & Sleep Study output reported by the Pulmonologist.
• To assist with scheduling patients for PF testing & Sleep Study.
• To confer with patients to explain testing procedures, allay fears, and elicit cooperation.
• To set-up PFT & Sleep Study equipment, and materials used in performing scheduled tests or experiments; prepare chemicals, solutions and reagents; clean and sterilize instruments and equipment.
• To ensure that all equipments are in optimum working condition.
• To maintain inventory of required equipment and supplies.
• To maintain patient registers.
• To maintain professional conduct, good communication skills, and confidentiality in the care of patients.
• To be part of the Quality Improvement Initiative & protocols of the organization.
