Job summary

Aditya Birla Group''s Cement division is hiring a Mine Shift In-Charge to supervise mining operations, plan staffing, and align with production targets.

You will coordinate with contractors, ensure safety of men and machinery, and ensure limestone feeding to crusher. Expertise in DGMS regulations and SAP is preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Mining with DGMS 1st class certificate.
• Experience as Shift In-Charge and Drilling/Blasting In-Charge.
• Knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office and reporting systems.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001/14001 & OHSAS 18001 and related safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise mining operations to meet production targets and quality.
• Coordinate with contractors for deployment of machinery.
• Ensure safety of personnel and equipment on site.
• Oversee drilling and blasting safety and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with DGMS, IBM and environmental guidelines.

Job Purpose

To supervise mining operations and assist in staffing, to achieve of targeted production and desired quality as per plant requirement. Coordinate with contractors for deployment of their machinery to achieve production. Ensure safety of man & machinery and develop the mine as per mining plan.

Duties and Responsibilities

• 1. Statutory position as per DGMS - 1st class Certificate
• 2. To ensure safety of men and machines at mines.
• 3. To ensure safety in drilling & blasting.
• 4. To ensure qualitative & quantitative feeding of limestone to Crusher during shift
• 5. To ensure statutory compliances as per guidelines of DGMS, IBM & Environment authorities.

Nature of Experience

• 1. Shall worked as Shift In-charge and drilling and blasting In-charge.
• 2. Allocation Of machinery and manpower during Shift
• 3. Supervision of own / contractual operation, drilling and blasting and adherence with safety & statutory requirement.
• 1. Knowledge Of Mines Operation Shift workings along-with Drilling & Blasting.
• 3. Understanding of statutory requirement and adherence of safety.
• 4. TO delgver statutory duties assigned to him as Manager - Mines or Asst Manager.
• 1. Knowledge & Experience Of Microsoft office and SAP.
• 2. Knowledge Of Management Systems like ISO- 9001, 14001 & OHSAS 18001 & WCM

Goals/KRA to be assigned:

• 1. To achieve targeted quantity & quality Of limestone production/crushing in a shift.
• 3. Achieve the desired productivity Of HEMM & HEO as well.
• 4. Shift handling With desired production and manpower handling.
• 5. Day to day sampling process supervision, quality updating in software and blend plan preparation.
• 6. Effective utilization of manpower & equipment Within shift.
• 7 Production & data entry in SAP.

Qualification-

Diploma / Degree in Mining With 1st class certificate by DGMS
