Job summary

Hero Future Energies in Delhi is seeking a senior OT/SCADA engineer to maintain and optimize industrial networks across multiple plants. The role involves configuring SCADA servers, HMIs, RTUs/PLCs, and gateways, plus supervising OT infrastructure and cybersecurity controls.

You will lead root-cause analyses, produce network diagrams and SOPs, and mentor junior engineers while coordinating with OEMs on upgrades. A strong background in SCADA platforms and industrial protocols is essential.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of SCADA architecture and OT networks.
• Hands-on experience with Windows Server and Linux basics, VLANs and firewalls.
• Working knowledge of OT cybersecurity frameworks (IEC 62443/NERC-CIP).
• Experience with SCADA platforms (ABB, Schneider, Siemens, GE or similar) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Resolve escalated SCADA/network issues requiring deeper analysis (server, protocol, config-level).

• Manage OT network infrastructure (VLANs, firewalls, switches, routers) using industrial protocols.
• Perform root cause analysis for recurring communication failures/data loss and implement fixes.
• Handle SCADA database/historian configuration and data integration issues.
• Plan patch management, firmware upgrades, and OT cybersecurity controls with minimal downtime.
• Coordinate with OEMs for hardware/system upgrades; mentor L1 engineers.
• Prepare SOPs, network diagrams and RCA reports; support DR drills.
