We are seeking a skilled and experienced OT Security Engineer to join us. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring the security and functionality of our operational technology infrastructure, including SCADA systems, PLCs, and industrial control systems (ICS). This role requires hands-on experience in automation, network security, and a deep understanding of OT environments in a manufacturing setup.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain SCADA and PLC systems for industrial automation.
- Ensure OT security compliance across all systems, including conducting risk assessments and vulnerability scans.
- Collaborate with IT teams to align OT/IT cybersecurity policies and best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to PLCs, HMIs, RTUs, and communication networks.
- Monitor and protect SCADA networks and control systems against cyber threats and unauthorized access.
- Maintain documentation of control system architecture, configuration, and network diagrams.
- Implement and manage firewalls, IDS/IPS, and segmentation in OT environments.
- Conduct periodic backups, patch management, and change control of OT systems.
- Support audits and assist in compliance with standards such as ISA/IEC 62443 and NIST.
- Train plant personnel on security protocols and control system awareness.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation / Automation Engineering or related field.
- 7+ years of hands-on experience with PLCs (e.g., Siemens, Allen Bradley, Schneider), SCADA systems, and HMIs.
- Strong understanding of industrial communication protocols (Modbus, Profibus, OPC, etc.).
- Proven experience in OT/ICS cybersecurity, preferably in a manufacturing plant.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks and standards (ISA/IEC 62443, NIST).
- Experience with industrial network infrastructure, including switches, routers, and firewalls.
- Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle responsibilities across multiple plant locations.
