The role requires strong Dynatrace APM skills, with Splunk and Datadog as beneficial, and a minimum of three years of hands-on experience. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor peers in performance engineering practices.

Project Role : Performance Engineer

Project Role Description : Diagnose issues that an in-house performance testing team has been unable to. There are five aspects to Performance Engineering: software development lifecycle and architecture, performance testing and validation, capacity planning, application performance management and problem detection and resolution.

Must have skills : Dynatrace APM

Good to have skills : Splunk, Datadog

Summary:

As a Performance Engineer, your day involves investigating and resolving complex performance issues that the internal performance testing team has not been able to address. You will engage deeply with various facets of performance engineering, including understanding software development lifecycles and architectures, validating performance through rigorous testing, planning for capacity needs, managing application performance, and swiftly detecting and resolving problems. Your role requires a proactive approach to ensure applications run efficiently and meet expected performance standards, contributing to the overall stability and reliability of software systems within the organization.

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Good To Have Skills: Experience with Splunk, Datadog.
• Strong understanding of application performance management principles and methodologies.
• Experience in diagnosing and troubleshooting complex performance issues in software applications.
• Familiarity with capacity planning and performance testing techniques.
• Ability to analyze system architecture and software development lifecycle impacts on performance.

Additional Information:

• The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Dynatrace APM.
• This position is based at our Ahmedabad office.
• A 15 years full time education is required.
