Job summary

Mphasis is seeking an experienced PeopleSoft Developer in Mumbai to lead development across PeopleTools, PeopleCode, AE, and CI components. You will design and implement integrated solutions using REST, SOAP, XML/JSON, file-based interfaces, SFTP, and Kafka-based events.

Minimum 8+ years of hands-on experience with PeopleSoft and administration. Strong Oracle SQL/PLSQL, Java, and CI/CD skills are required to ensure robust, scalable deployments across environments.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on PeopleSoft development experience.
• Strong expertise with PeopleTools 8.5x/8.6x including App Designer, PeopleCode, AE, CI, CI Components and PS Query.
• Experience integrating PeopleSoft with REST, SOAP, XML/JSON, file-based, SFTP, and Kafka events.
• Proficient in PeopleSoft administration, environment setup, and performance troubleshooting.
• Database proficiency in Oracle SQL/PLSQL with tuning experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain PeopleSoft applications, components, and interfaces.
• Implement integrations using Integration Broker and modern APIs.
• Collaborate with teams on CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.

• PeopleSoft Development (People Tools 8.5x/8.6x): Application Designer, PeopleCode, Application Engine (AE), Component Interface (CI), Component Processor,, Pages/Components, Records/Fields/Menus, File Layouts, PS Query, Event Mapping, Work Centers
• Integrations: Integration Broker, REST APIs, SOAP Web Services, XML/JSON, file-based integrations, SFTP, Kafka-based event generation
• Java/Messaging: Java, Kafka (event generation/integration)
• PeopleSoft Administration: Install/Configure PeopleTools & PIA, environment setup/cloning, domain creation/config (App/Web/Process Scheduler), WebLogic & Tuxedo admin, SSL/SSO, performance monitoring/tuning, cache/log analysis & troubleshooting, security admin (roles/permission lists/users), backup/recovery support
• Database: Oracle Database, SQL, PLSQL, query optimization & performance tuning
• Migration/Upgrades/Patching: CAPI (migration tool), Change Assistant, change packages, object/project migration (compare/merge/copy)
• CI/CD / Automation (if applicable): Git (GitHub/GitLab/BitBucket), Jenkins, DevOps, shell/PowerShell scripting, deployment automation
• Python: Python (3.x) data structures, OOP, functions/decorators, context managers, exception handling, file/IO, JSON/CSV parsing, concurrent processing etc
