Job summary

Coforge in Bengaluru is seeking an experienced Senior/Lead Pega Developer with strong CLM/KYC expertise to lead end-to-end Pega Infinity projects and mentor the development team.

You will design and build scalable Pega applications, implement modern UI using Theme Cosmos, Cosmos React, and UI Kit, and collaborate with business and tech stakeholders to define architectures.

The role demands leadership, strong problem-solving and a hands-on approach to deliver robust, compliant solutions.

Qualifications

• Nine+ years in Pega development with at least two years in a lead role.
• Hands-on Pega CLM/KYC with experience building apps from scratch on Pega Infinity (v8.7+).
• Expertise in Theme Cosmos, UI Kit and Cosmos React for SPA UX.</br>
• Pega certifications such as CLSA or CSSA are highly preferred.
• Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines in Pega is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving, communication and team leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and configure Pega apps end-to-end aligned to requirements.
• Lead end-to-end delivery of Pega CLM/KYC modules (onboarding, due diligence, risk).
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define solution architecture and approach.
• Build modern, responsive UIs using Theme Cosmos, Cosmos React, and UI Kit.
• Perform code reviews, unit testing, and QA to ensure robust solutions.
• Mentor junior developers and enforce best practices.
• Troubleshoot complex Pega issues across layers and coordinate with teams.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior/Lead Pega Developer with a strong background in Pega CLM/KYC, end-to-end application development on Pega Infinity, and deep knowledge of modern UI frameworks including Theme Cosmos, UI Kit, and Cosmos React. This role demands not only technical expertise but also leadership and mentoring abilities to guide and support the development team.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and configure Pega applications from scratch, ensuring alignment with business requirements and enterprise architecture standards.
• Lead and own the end-to-end delivery of Pega CLM/KYC modules including onboarding, due diligence, and risk assessment processes.
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to define solution architecture and implementation approach.
• Build modern, responsive UIs using Theme Cosmos, Cosmos React, and UI Kit based on the application needs and user experience goals.
• Perform code reviews, unit testing, and quality assurance to ensure robust and maintainable solutions.
• Mentor junior developers, enforce best practices, and contribute to the continuous improvement of development standards and practices.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues across Pega layers and work closely with other teams to resolve them.
• Prepare technical documentation, estimation, and design specifications as required.
• Stay up to date with Pega product releases, particularly around Pega Infinity and its evolving capabilities.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 9 years of experience in Pega development with at least 2 years in a lead developer role.
• Strong hands-on experience with Pega CLM/KYC frameworks, data models, and out-of-the-box rules.
• Proven experience in developing Pega applications from scratch on Pega Infinity (v8.7 or above).
• Expertise in Theme Cosmos, UI Kit, and Cosmos React with a clear understanding of SPA behavior and DX APIs.
• Pega certifications such as Certified Lead System Architect (CLSA) or CSSA are highly preferred.
• Experience with DevOps practices, unit testing (e.g., PegaUnit), and CI/CD pipelines in Pega is an added advantage.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and team collaboration skills.
• Prior experience in mentoring and leading small to mid-sized development teams.
