Job Description
An experienced Senior Architect supporting client digital transformation initiatives with deep Pega technical expertise and strong CLM/KYC domain expertise, complemented by effective stakeholder engagement skills. The role involves leading the design, development, and delivery of complex Pega CLM/KYC solutions in alignment with business requirements, architecture standards, and security guidelines within Agile Scrum teams. The Senior Architect collaborates closely with solution architects and the Pega COE to deliver scalable, reusable, and high-quality solutions, stays current with industry best practices, maintains comprehensive documentation, and serves as a trusted Pega and CLM/KYC advisor and mentor to stakeholders and delivery teams.
Essential Technical Qualification
- Mandatory – CLSA certification (Both part 1 & 2)
- Senior Architect with 10+ years of Pega experience and at least 4–5 Pega project implementations
- Strong hands‑on experience with Pega CLM/KYC frameworks (preferably versions 7.4 and above). Good understanding of financial services, client onboarding, and regulatory KYC requirements.
- At least two projects from scratch up until PROD go live, including performance tuning.
- Experience in solutions development on Pega using Pega forms, workflows, data models, layer cake, integration, and Pega mobility.
- Expertise on Connectors and Services, Data Interactions; Integrations (API, Event Driven, Message Queues, SFTP, REST, SOAP, HTTP). Experience leveraging DevOps methods.
- Strong in Data Flow, Case Management, Sub‑cases, UI, Process Flows, Data Set, Caching, Rule Resolution and Activities.
- Thought‑leadership to customer stakeholders across business and technical project dimensions, proficient on Pega tools like AES, SMA, PLA, BIX. Accessibility framework is must.
- Experience building security‑first solutions: authorization, identity, encryption, authentication, OWASP, SSOA and RBAC.
- Code review, optimization and Pega performance analysis and tuning, analyzing and logging enhancements/bugs in application.
- Understanding of Relational Database Management Systems, architecture and design for performance and scalability, working with Object‑to‑Relational mapping schemes for distributed data access.
- Iterative development and Agile methodology experience.
- Independent design of PEGA solutions and dispute solutions, meeting/exceeding best practices.
- Support QA team by configuring changes during testing cycles.
- All deployment activities across all environments including Production.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement end‑to‑end client onboarding workflows and KYC processes, leveraging and extending Pega CLM/KYC components as per business needs.
- Lead and mentor the development team while architecting and designing enterprise‑grade business applications using Pega PRPC and other Pega frameworks, including estimation, enterprise class structure, and overall application design.
- Apply and evangelise customer standards, re‑use existing standards, or establish and enforce appropriate standards to create enterprise assets.
- Participate in requirement analysis workshops, ensuring business requirements are converted to Pega expected inputs.
- Resolve complex design and configuration problems to meet specified objectives.
- Prepare High‑Level Designs and low‑code platform solutions, collate non‑functional requirements, and review/approve design and logic configurations.
- Provide estimates of time and resources required for delivering projects and related artifacts using agreed processes.
- Enforce Pega Guardrails, conduct rigorous code reviews, and maintain a high Guardrail Compliance Score (typically >90%).
- Design complex integration patterns (REST, SOAP, Kafka, MQ) and manage data synchronization between Pega and legacy systems.
- Act as a Trusted Advisor to C‑suite stakeholders, providing roadmaps for Pega upgrades, cloud migrations (Pega Cloud), and adoption of new features like Constellation or GenAI.
- Lead transition from reactive troubleshooting to proactive monitoring by configuring PDC thresholds and automated notifications for critical events.
