JobItUs seeks a PEB Structural Design Engineer to join our Supa MIDC, Ahmednagar, Maharashtra team. You will perform design and analysis of main frames, purlins, wall girts, and mezzanine floors using STAAD.Pro or SAP2000, ensuring IS code compliance.

The role requires a BE/B.Tech or ME/M.Tech in Civil Engineering with 2–6 years of dedicated PEB or industrial steel design experience and hands-on proficiency in STAAD.Pro, ETABS, Tekla, and AutoCAD. Industrial EPC exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
• 2–6 years of structural design experience in PEB or industrial steel construction.
• Proficiency with STAAD.Pro, ETABS, Tekla, and AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Design & Analysis: perform structural analysis for primary and secondary members using STAAD.Pro or SAP2000.
• Drawing & Detailing: coordinate with detailers to produce fabrication-ready shop drawings using AutoCAD or Tekla Structures.
• Code Compliance: ensure designs meet IS codes or international standards for wind, seismic and dead/live loads.
• Optimization: reduce steel weight and optimize connection designs while controlling costs.
• Site & Client Coordination: liaise with project managers, production teams, and on-site erection engineers in Supa MIDC.

Job Description (JD) Overview

• Role: PEB Structural Design Engineer
• Industry: Pre-Engineered Buildings, Heavy Steel Fabrication, or industrial EPC
• Location: Supa MIDC, Ahmednagar district, Maharashtra

Key Responsibilities

• Design & Analysis: Perform structural analysis and design calculations for primary and secondary members of PEB structures (main frames, purlins, wall girts, mezzanine floors) using software like STAAD.Pro or SAP2000.
• Drawing & Detailing: Coordinate with detailers to produce fabrication-ready shop drawings, anchor bolt plans, and erection diagrams utilizing AutoCAD or Tekla Structures.
• Code Compliance: Ensure all designs comply with relevant Indian Standards (IS codes) or international design standards for wind, seismic, and dead/live loads.
• Optimization: Optimize steel weight and connection designs safely while controlling project material costs.
• Site & Client Coordination: Liaise with project managers, production teams, and on-site erection engineers in Supa MIDC to resolve technical site queries

Candidate Requirements

• Education: B.E. / B.Tech or M.E. / M.Tech in Civil Engineering (Specialization in Structural Engineering preferred).
• Experience: 2 to 6 years of dedicated structural design experience within the PEB or industrial steel construction sector.
