Job summary

Qualifications

• Understanding IS Codes and structural design principles.

PEB Engineer | 10+ Years Experience | Ahmedabad

Vardan Group is looking for an experienced and technically strong Senior PEB Engineer to join our team in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.

The ideal candidate should have 10+ years of relevant experience in PEB design, structural steel engineering, fabrication, project coordination and site execution. The candidate should be able to handle technical work independently and coordinate with design, fabrication, project and site teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and review Pre-Engineered Building (PEB) and structural steel structures as per applicable Indian and international standards.
• Prepare and review structural calculations, GA drawings, fabrication drawings, erection drawings and connection details.
• Perform structural analysis and design using STAAD.Pro, Tekla Structures, AutoCAD and other relevant software.
• Coordinate with architects, consultants, clients, fabrication teams, procurement teams and site teams.
• Ensure that designs and engineering work follow applicable IS Codes, safety requirements, quality standards and project specifications.
• Review material requirements, structural members, connection details, fabrication requirements and erection methods.
• Provide technical support and guidance to design, fabrication and site execution teams.
• Visit project sites when required and ensure work is carried out as per approved drawings and specifications.
• Identify and resolve design, fabrication, erection and site-related technical issues.
• Review designs for proper material utilization, cost efficiency, constructability and structural performance.
• Coordinate with procurement and production teams for timely availability of materials and engineering requirements.
• Support project teams in completing projects as per required quality, cost and timelines.
• Prepare technical reports, design documents and project updates.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering / Structural Engineering.
• 10+ years of relevant experience in PEB design, structural steel engineering and project execution.
• Strong knowledge of PEB systems, structural steel design, fabrication and erection.
• Good working knowledge of STAAD.Pro, Tekla Structures, AutoCAD and MS Office.
• Good understanding of IS Codes and structural design principles.
• Strong technical, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to independently handle technical requirements and provide practical solutions.

Preferred Experience:

• Experience in industrial buildings, warehouses, factories, commercial buildings and large-scale steel structure projects.
• Experience in project coordination, fabrication and site execution.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and priorities.
• Good understanding of quality control, quality assurance and site safety practices.
• Good leadership and team coordination skills.
• Experience working with consultants, clients, fabricators, contractors and site teams will be an advantage.
