Job summary

Willus Infrastructure in Ghaziabad, India, seeks an experienced PEB structural designer to design main frames, rafters, and connections. You will prepare calculations and drawings, review standards, and coordinate with fabrication teams.

The role requires proficiency in STAAD.Pro, Tekla, AutoCAD, and related PEB software, with focus on IS codes and accurate documentation. On-site responsibilities and collaboration with site teams are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in designing PEB structures including main frames, rafters, columns, bracings, purlins, girts, and connections.
• Proficient with STAAD.Pro, Tekla Structures, MBS/PEB software, and AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of IS standards relevant to PEB: IS 800, IS 875, IS 1893, MBMA/AISC/ASCE.

Responsibilities

• Design and analyze PEB structures incl. main frames, rafters, columns, bracings, purlins.
• Prepare structural calculations and meet strength, stability, serviceability, deflection criteria.
• Develop GA drawings, fabrication/shop drawings, erection drawings, and connection details.
• Use structural design software such as STAAD.Pro, Tekla Structures, MBS/PEB software, AutoCAD.
• Select sections, materials, connections, and member sizes per design requirements.
• Coordinate with fabrication, production, estimation, procurement, and site teams.
• Resolve issues during fabrication and erection.
• Ensure designs comply with IS 800/IS 875/IS 1893, MBMA/AISC/ASCE.
• Prepare design reports, calculation sheets, material specifications, and docs.
• Incorporate client/consultant comments and revisions within timelines.

• Select suitable sections, materials, connections, and member sizes based on design requirements.
• Coordinate with fabrication, production, estimation, procurement, and site/erection teams.
• Resolve technical issues arising during fabrication and erection.
• Ensure designs comply with relevant standards such as IS 800, IS 875, IS 1893, MBMA/AISC/ASCE, as applicable to the project.
• Prepare design reports, calculation sheets, material specifications, and engineering documentation.
• Incorporate client/consultant comments and complete revisions within project timelines.
