Join us as an “PDSClearing ManagementAnalyst” PDSis primarily managed from London, New York, and Singapore, with team members in various other strategic locations across the globe to ensure that a truly global and seamless clearing offering can be delivered to clients. The global team employ a robust follow the sun model providing client coverage 24 hours a day.

To be a successful “PDSClearing ManagementAnalyst” PDShas a clear focus on developing and supporting systems in house for many of the core downstream clearing and reporting solutions. This includes clearing, middle office, allocation and average pricing technology, client reporting, exercise/assignment solutions,cashand treasury solutions. A select number ofvendor basedsystems are used byPDSand, for each of them, key IT experts are employed in house for implementation,upgradesand ongoing support of these applications.

You may be assessed on the key critical skills relevant for success role candidate is responsible forvarious governance and reporting responsibilities around sending designatory notices to our FXPB clients. The team creates and manages dashboard summarizing our daily revenueacrualsin OTC and FXPB business. They also work on other reporting obligations in close coordination with Finance and regional clearing business teams. The team also covers the intermediation activity for restricted currencies providing critical FX execution support to our global clients.

Basic/ Essential Qualifications:

hePDSclearingManagement Team supports the following:

  • Execute restricted FX via an onshore broker for clients as part of their funding requirement (margin calls or withdrawals) on their futures position.
  • Calculate and report the daily /monthly revenuefor FXPB and OTC business
  • Prepare Statistics and Reportsto aid PDS Business with enhanced analysis to support business decision making like creatinga bi-weekly reportthatdepicts sales performance and the budget gap, weekly pack that depicts the volume and P&L & highlights for the week, and other client related metrics for thePDSproducts.
  • Support the business in processing the Economic Terms of Trades into Trade Capture Systemsinclusive ofsubsequentRisk Modifying Activities on that trade acrossasset classes i.e. Rates, FXPB, Futures, CDS.Trade Captureassistanceincludes Amendments, Cancellations, Lifecycle Events, Credit Events, Corporate Actions
  • Communicate effectivelyforfacilitatingmedium to large scale projects withdifferent groupsincluding trading desks, technology, Middle Offices, and global change management teams across multiple business lines in New York,Londonand Asia. Prepare detailed reports based on the analysis and present to management.
  • Stakeholder management and leadership - describe levels of stakeholders the individual will be interacting with and expectations. Discuss nature/ breadth/ interpersonal leadership qualitiesrequired
  • Decision making and problem solving. Extent and level to which the job requires evaluative judgement and analytical skills.
  • Role requires timing flexibility as there is a need to cover Asia starting at 5am India time.
Desirable skillsets/ good to have:
  • Graduate or MBA from top tier Engineering/Business school.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to clearly articulate complicated issues to management and other impacted areas and ensuretimelyresolution of issues and breaches.Should becomfortable communicating directly with all levels of the organization, including senior management.
  • Highly analytical and numerate with exceptionalproblem solvingabilities and Comprehensive knowledge on Derivative, Rates and FXproducts and associated risks.
  • Well organised withgood timemanagement skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritise tasks. Ability to multi-task and prioritise accordingly in a highly pressurised environment.

This role will be based out of NKP, Mumbai.

Purpose of the role

To maintain the smooth and efficient operation of our trading desks, providing operational support and expertise to traders, sales professionals, and other key stakeholders, helping them maximize their productivity and minimize disruptions and handling administrative tasks, and providing market information and research.

Accountabilities
  • Provision of immediate and efficient technical support to traders and sales professionals on the trading desks, resolving hardware, software, and network-related issues to ensure uninterrupted trading activities.
  • Coordination of trade execution by liaising with traders, clients, and other internal teams to ensure smooth transactions.
  • Maintenance and updating of trade records, transaction logs, and client databases accurately.
  • Reports, presentations, and documentation preparation to support sales and trading activities.
  • Monitoring of market data and assist in the analysis of financial information for trading decisions.
  • Operational tasks such as processing trades, confirming orders, and resolving trade discrepancies.
