Job summary

Barclays in Gurugram, India seeks a Senior Analyst to support critical operational activities across UK Corporate Banking, including reviews, KYC CAAR, pricing, and complaints management. The role partners with frontline teams to drive improvements and free up client-facing staff for growth.

You will analyze data, prepare management insights, and contribute to risk controls while aligning with SOPs and industry best practices. Flexible UK shift coverage is expected.

Qualifications

  • Familiarity with CRM tools and workflow systems such as Salesforce.
  • Strong written and verbal communication to interact with internal teams and stakeholders.
  • Team player who can work cross-functionally and mentor others.

  • Understand the importance of risk and controls in line with Bank objectives.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
  • Knowledge of financial services industry, especially Corporate/Investment Banking products & services.
  • Flexible to work in shifts, particularly UK.

Responsibilities

  • Design, execution and embedding of an ongoing roadmap to provide market-leading tools for RDs and Coverage.
  • Design, execution and embedding of an ongoing training plan to provide ‘World Class Learning’.
  • Support the delivery of market-leading client collateral to provide a competitive advantage to RDs.
  • Collaborate with Product to develop market-leading industry/segment focused products and multi-product solutions and drive initiatives.
  • Develop the data capability across UK Corporate to enable client insights for acquisitions and wallet share growth.
  • Maximise the impact of UCRM and Salesforce as tools for Corporate Banking.
  • Implement agreed minimum standards and best practices across UK Corporate and support this with sales management tools to drive success.

Job description

Join us as a Senior Analyst at Colleague Support Hub, where you will support the delivery of critical operational activities across UK Corporate Banking such as Annual Review Process, KYC CAAR (Client Account Activity Review), Periodic Pricing Reviews, Complaints management etc. You will work closely with frontline colleagues to execute critical business processes, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and create capacity for Relationship Directors and Associate Bankers to focus on client engagement and business growth.

You may be assessed on key critical skills relevant for success in this role, including MNC banking operational excellence, knowledge of Corporate or Investment Banking function, stakeholder management, data analysis, process improvement, risk management as well as some job-specific skillsets.

To be successful in this role, you should have experience with:

Basic / Essential Qualifications

  • Knowledge and understanding of the financial services industry, in particular Corporate or Investment Banking products & services.

Desirable Skillsets / Good to Have

  • Preferably a Postgraduate or MBA or MBA equivalent.

  • Ability to analyse data and generate monthly insights and reports for internal stakeholders.

  • Familiarity with Artificial Intelligence tools and technologies and the ability to leverage them to improve processes, productivity, reporting, and decision-making.

  • Develop and maintain network of contacts within relevant specialist areas and projects; ensure business and process knowledge is up to date; use expert knowledge to positively influence decisions.

  • Ability to think critically and act decisively in high-pressure situations to resolve issues swiftly.

This role will be based out of Gurugram, India.

Purpose of the role

To support coverage to grow income for both new and existing customers by providing marketing leading tools, a world class learning & development programme as well as analytical support in terms of sales management tools to contribute to the overall success of UKC.

Accountabilities
