Job summary

Mercedes-Benz India seeks a VPC In-charge responsible for planning, controlling and increasing efficiency of all VPC activities at the dealership. You ensure adherence to MB India policies and coordinate with Sales, After Sales and Workshop teams to promote brand image.

You will manage stock, coordinate with transporters, and handle receipts and documentation. Strong English and Hindi communication is required; 3–5 years in the luxury market is preferred.

Qualifications

Diploma in Engineering or a graduate in any discipline.
Initial Mercedes-Benz VPC operation training.
3–5 years of experience in Mass or Luxury market in the same field.
Proficiency in English and Hindi.

Responsibilities

Receive vehicles per Sales Plan and track status with transporters.
Coordinate VPC with wholesalers and transporters for logistics and vehicle tracking.
Maintain perpetual and technical stock records per legal and commercial requirements.
Dispatch vehicles and handover after PDI to the customer.
Liaise with MB India and Insurance Agency for repairs and claims.

As a, VPC In- charge you are fullyresponsible for planning, controlling and increasing efficiency of all VPCactivities at dealership. In this function, you ensure that the dealershipsstrategic and operational goals are met as well as MB India policy &guidelines are implemented & followed rigorously. When it comes to VPCfunction, you are the reliable and transparent interface between SalesAdministrators, Workshop administrators,Workshop colleagues and MB India. With your expert knowledge, technicalcompetency and excellent communication skills you promote the brand and productimage and hence contribute to the economic success of the organization.

VPC Operations

Receiving of the Vehicles inline with Sales Plan as per the Systems led down by MB India
Co-ordination of VPC –wholesale and Transporters for Logisticsfor tracking of the ordered vehicles
Confirming Vehicle status andformal receipt process with transporters.
Maintenance of Stock – Legal& Commercial Requirements ( Perpetual Inventory )
Maintenance of Stock –Technical & system requirements( VPC checks )
Dispatch / Handover of the Car, billed to Customer via PDI
Co –ordination with DealerAdministration & Facility Department for Maintenance & upkeep of VPCsite, statutory requirements and support agency functions

Ensuring thatReceipt operation is trouble free and Car carrier is made free in fastestpossible time.

Documentation of VPC

DAN & GIN of the receiptVehicles, documentation in the system.
Coordination with InsuranceAgency & Workshop for Non AFS cars
Maintaining proper record ofall VPC documents and producing as and when required.

Documentation& system updates on VPC checks for stock cars.

Liaising with MB India

Ensuring that VPC issues arereported timely to MB India, especially close watch in Non AFS vehicles
Submission of repair claims toMB India/ Insurance Agency within the specified time limit.
Re-conciliation of Insurance claimswithin the specified time limit.

Co-ordination withTransporters & Insurance agency for repairs keeping MB India in Loop .
