Job summary

CTA Apparels is seeking a proactive PD Merchandiser in Noida to manage product development, coordinate with buyers and vendors, and ensure timely sampling and development milestones.

You will work with internal teams, understand tech packs and costing, and maintain trackers to meet buyer specifications and quality standards.

Qualifications

• 15 years of experience in the apparel/garment industry.
• Knowledge of garment construction, fabrics, trims, and accessories.
• Good understanding of product development and sampling processes.
• Familiarity with tech packs, BOM, costing, and measurement sheets.
• Strong follow-up, coordination, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and basic computer applications.

Responsibilities

• Handle product development activities from initial concept to final sample approval.
• Coordinate with buyers, vendors, fabric suppliers, and internal teams.
• Follow up on fabric, trims, accessories, and sample development.
• Understand buyer requirements, tech packs, specifications, and measurement sheets.
• Prepare and maintain sample status, development trackers, and T&A charts.
• Coordinate for proto samples, fit samples, size sets, and pre-production samples.
• Ensure samples meet buyer specifications and quality standards.
• Follow up on costing, consumption, and material availability.
• Ensure timely submission and approval of samples.
