Job summary

MKS Inc. in Bengaluru is seeking a Hardware Engineer to design PCB footprints/layouts from schematics, manage the component library, and work with the engineering team on component selections.

You will support design reviews, and failure analysis activities while ensuring compliance with IPC standards; soldering experience is preferred. Join a fast-paced, highly technical environment and grow with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering degree or equivalent experience.
• Expert in circuit design, reading manufacturer datasheets, and designing multilayer PCBA stackups.
• Expert with PADS or equivalent PCB layout software.
• Understanding of the PCBA manufacturing process and IPC industry standards.
• Basic understanding of electromagnetics and interactions between fields, voltages, currents, and materials.
• Basic understanding of electrical measurements and equipment, voltmeter, and oscilloscope. Soldering experience preferred.

A Day in Your Life at MKS: In this role the Hardware Engineer will design printed circuit board layouts, associated manufacturing files and maintain the component library database. Candidate will work with other Engineers as part of a larger product development and sustaining engineering team. As a curious, successful candidate you will operate independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced, dynamic, highly technical environment and work on cross-functional projects. You are highly self-motivated and capable of combining the efforts of the team to support innovative designs and differentiated technology. In this role, you will report to the Bangalore Engineering Manager.You Will Make an Impact By:

Skills You Bring:
