Qualifications

• Experience in PCB design and hardware development for electronic products.
• Knowledge of schematic capture and PCB layout software.
• Familiarity with testing, debugging, and documentation practices.

PCB Layout cum Hardware Engineer

Role Overview

We are looking for a hands-on PCB Layout cum Hardware Engineer to manage PCB design, hardware development, prototyping, testing, and troubleshooting for electronic products.

Key Responsibilities

• Design schematics and multilayer PCBs (up to 4/6 layers).
• Perform component selection, placement, routing, and PCB design reviews.
• Prepare Gerber files, BOMs, and fabrication/assembly documents.
• Support hardware bring-up, debugging, testing, and validation.
• Work on power supply circuits, microcontrollers, sensors, relays, and communication interfaces.
• Coordinate with firmware, production, and manufacturing teams.
• Ensure PCB designs meet DFM, EMI/EMC, and electrical safety requirements.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in Altium Designer, KiCad, OrCAD/Allegro, or EAGLE.
• Strong knowledge of analog/digital electronics and PCB layout.
• Understanding of SMPS, embedded hardware, and communication protocols.
• Hands-on experience with oscilloscopes, multimeters, soldering, and debugging tools.
• Good problem-solving and technical documentation skills.

Preferred:

Experience in reverse engineering, RF layout, and impedance-controlled routing.
