Role

We are seeking a highly motivated PCB Design Engineer to join our automotive product design team at the Pune location. The candidate will be responsible for PCB layout design and development for automotive electronic hardware products, following applicable IPC and company‑specific standards.

Role & Responsibilities

• Design PCB layout, create Gerbers using Altium Designer.
• Create schematics, BOM, and PCB panels.
• Collaborate closely with the mechanical team for assembly verification.
• Communicate with PCB suppliers and finalize specifications.
• Create PCB footprints according to IPC standards.
• Follow company ESD/EMI/EMC guidelines and DFM/DFT rules.
• Support prototype builds, debugging, and product launches.
• Generate and maintain technical documentation.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Knowledge of schematic design tools such as Altium or ORCAD.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Altium Designer.
• Experience in automotive product development is preferred.
• Understanding of electronics and mechanical BOM components.
• Experience with high‑speed, impedance‑controlled board design is a plus.
• Awareness of EMI/EMC and thermal aspects in PCB design.
• Knowledge of state‑of‑the‑art design trends and PCB fabrication processes.
• Familiarity with PCB material specifications, layer stack‑up details, and assembly processes.
• Knowledge of IPC standards related to PCB design.
