Job summary

Vltronics Automation is seeking a hands-on electronics engineer to design and develop printed circuit boards and related hardware. You will work on circuit design, PCB layouts, assembly, testing and troubleshooting, with opportunities to contribute to new product development.

Knowledge of microcontrollers is a bonus and you may explore embedded programming. Freshers with electronics project experience are welcome; practical skills and curiosity are valued for this role, which involves

Qualifications

• Founds: practical electronics knowledge and interest prioritized over formal credentials.
• Strong hand-on skills in electronics, with ability to read datasheets and test circuits.
• Familiarity with PCB design and basic electronics testing is essential.

Responsibilities

• Design and modify electronic circuits.
• Create PCB layouts from circuit diagrams.
• Select components and footprints.
• Prepare Gerber files for PCB manufacturing.
• Assemble and modify prototype PCBs.
• Test PCBs and locate faults.
• Debug and improve circuits and PCBs.
• Collaborate with PCB manufacturers and assembly vendors.
• Maintain circuit diagrams, PCB files and BOMs.
• Contribute to development of new products and prototypes.

Job description

We are looking for a person who can work on electronic circuit and PCB design and also work on the actual hardware.

The person will be involved in circuit design, PCB design, PCB assembly, testing, troubleshooting and product development.

Main Skills Required

• Experience with PCB design software Altium
• Able to make and modify schematics and PCB layouts
• Basic knowledge of electronic components and circuits
• Able to test and troubleshoot electronic circuits
• Able to use a multimeter; knowledge of oscilloscope is an advantage
• Able to read component datasheets
• Basic understanding of PCB manufacturing and assembly

Work

• Design and modify electronic circuits.

Basic knowledge of C/C++ or embedded programming is also an advantage.

Embedded development is not required, but candidates interested in both hardware and software will have an opportunity to work in this area.

Qualification

ITI Electronics Mechanic / Diploma Electronics or ECE / B.Tech ECE or equivalent practical experience.

Qualification is not the main selection criteria. Practical knowledge and interest in electronics are more important.

Freshers can apply if they have done electronics or PCB projects and can demonstrate their practical knowledge.
