Job summary

Acufore India Private Limited in Bengaluru seeks a seasoned PCB design engineer with 6+ years of hands-on experience. You will design and review schematics for multilayer PCBs, select components, and prepare BOMs while ensuring signal integrity, EMI/ESD, and DFM/DFT practices.

You will collaborate with fabricators and participate in bring-up and validation across 2–10 layer designs.

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech in Electronics & Communication.
• 6+ years of hands-on PCB design experience.
• Proficient in schematic design and review; multilayer PCB design.
• Experience with high-speed interfaces (DDR, Ethernet, USB).
• RF-aware layout, signal integrity and power integrity considerations.
• EMI/EMC and ESD design practices; DFM/DFT.
• Gerber, drill, fabrication and assembly outputs generated.
• Coordination with PCB fabricators/assemblers; 2–10 layer designs.

Responsibilities

• Design and review schematics for multilayer PCBs.
• Select components and prepare BOMs.
• Create layouts for analog, digital, mixed-signal and power circuits.
• Ensure signal integrity, power integrity, grounding and noise control.
• Address EMI/EMC and ESD considerations during layout.
• Generate fabrication outputs (Gerber/ODB++).
• Collaborate with PCB fabricators and assemblers; bring-up and validation.
• DFM/DFT-focused design practices.

Experience:

6+ years of hands-on experience in PCB design

Technical Skills:

Schematic design and review; multilayer PCB design; component selection and BOM preparation; analog, digital, mixed-signal and power circuit layout; high-speed interfaces such as DDR, Ethernet and USB; RF-aware PCB layout; signal integrity, power integrity, grounding and noise considerations; EMI/EMC and ESD design practices; DFM/DFT; Gerber, drill, fabrication and assembly outputs; PCB bring-up, debugging and validation; coordination with PCB fabricators/assemblers, experience with 2–10 layer PCB designs.

Software / Tools Knowledge:

Cadence OrCAD Capture, Allegro PCB Designer; Altium Designer or equivalent; Gerber/ODB++ and manufacturing output generation; PCB design rule checking.

Certifications:

PCB Design / Cadence Allegro / Altium certification preferred but not mandatory. Embedded Hardware Design certification can be considered an added advantage.
