Role Description

The Pathologist will provide diagnostic services by examining tissue, blood, and other specimens to support accurate clinical decision-making. Daily responsibilities include performing histopathological examinations, interpreting laboratory results, preparing detailed diagnostic reports, and collaborating with clinicians to guide patient management. The role involves overseeing laboratory procedures, ensuring quality control, and adhering to regulatory and safety standards. The Pathologist will participate in case discussions, contribute to tumor boards or clinical meetings as needed, and support continuous improvement of laboratory practices. This is a full-time, on-site role located in Chandigarh, India.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Pathology and Laboratory Medicine, with the ability to interpret complex diagnostic findings.
• Proficiency in Histology and core Laboratory Skills, including specimen handling, processing, and quality assurance.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Medicine to correlate laboratory results with clinical presentations.
• Relevant medical degree (e.g., MD or equivalent) with specialization in Pathology, and appropriate licensure or eligibility as per local regulations.
• Experience working in a clinical laboratory or hospital setting, preferably in anatomic and/or clinical pathology.
• Attention to detail, strong analytical and critical thinking abilities, and competence in using laboratory information systems.
• Effective communication skills for collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and explaining findings to healthcare professionals.
