Responsibilities

• Participate in a high-volume laboratory with diagnostic service.
• Ensure quality control and quality assurance in daily testing and reporting.
• Evaluate daily QC charts, calibrations, and daily logs.
• Support NABL accreditation readiness and internal audits.
• Carry out lab safety procedures and inventory control.
• Supervise calibration and preventive maintenance of equipment.

• The applicant will be required to understand functions and processes of clinical biochemistry/ Serology/ Microbiology.
• Responsibilities will focus on lab services including documentation and quality control.
• Participation in the developmental efforts of the services of the lab.
• Possession of skills to work on digital platforms.

Job description:

• To participate in a laboratory, which includes high volumes of samples and diagnostic service.
• To ensure quality control and quality assurance in day-to-day testing and reporting. Evaluation of daily QC, LJ charts, calibrations, and overview of daily logs.
• Evaluating and rendering interpretation and diagnosis for clinical biochemistry, serology, Microbiology, etc.
• To demonstrate a commitment to providing timely diagnostic information to referring physicians.
• To participate in continuous medical education program and competency evaluation of lab staff.
• To carry out laboratory operations and implement policies along with document control.
• To participate in lab improvement plans.
• To supervise the calibration, preventive maintenance of equipment, thermometers, centrifuges and refrigerators, etc
• To monitor inventory control and purchase.
• Incorporation and implementation of lab safety standards and procedures.
• Conducting internal audits.
• To comply with the standards and guidelines of NABL accreditations.
• Knowledge of obtaining NABL accreditation for lab services.
