Job summary

Expleo is seeking a Senior Mechanical/Automotive Engineer in India (Chennai) to lead bifuel CNG design initiatives and ensure compliance with international standards. The role demands 7–10 years of relevant experience in ICE/Alternate fuels and BE in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering, with strong design and validation skills.

You will collaborate across functions to deliver robust, safe vehicle architectures.

Qualifications

• BE in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering is required.
• 7-10 years of relevant experience in ICE/Alternate fuel projects.
• Ability to work with deadlines and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Conduct risk and safety assessments for bifuel systems.

• Validate part designs (2D/3D) and assess impact on PWT/vehicle layout.
