Job summary

Expleo India is seeking an experienced mechanical/automotive design engineer for bifuel CNG systems with 7–10 years of relevant experience. You will lead design and development activities, ensure compliance with global CNG regulations, and coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver robust architecture.

7-10 years relevant (ICE / Alternate fuel), Bifuel (Gasoline + CNG).

Primary Skills:

• Prioritize design and development activities per schedule.
• Conduct risk and safety assessments for bifuel systems.
• Verify critical characteristics (RSH) per global CNG regulations.
• Validate part designs (2D, 3D, simulations) and assess impact on PWT/vehicle layout.
• Ensure technical convergence across stakeholders.
• Review tolerance stack-up studies before TGA approval.
• Approve architecture RCC rules and manage vehicle stakeholder alignment.
• Support QCT reduction for ASM and

Secondary Skills:

• Manage design documents and bifuel CNG design reviews.
• Ensure digital mock-up (packaging) aligns with BOM.
• Validate and archive design documents (SDRM, TOP-RO checklists).
• Develop bifuel CNG design guidelines and validation support.
• Approve supplier design reports for gasoline and CNG.
• Collaborate with plant teams on DFM/DFA and support PFE convergence.
