Job summary

Sarthee Consultancy in Bengaluru is seeking a Plant Operator to monitor and control DCS-based continuous processes, ensuring stable production and safety compliance.

You will perform shift operations, manage distillation, hydrogenation, solvent recovery, and collaborate with the team to troubleshoot issues and optimize plant performance. Adherence to QHSSE standards and optimized resource use will be part of the role.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control DCS systems, ensuring smooth operation of continuous processes.
• Perform shift operations, including solvent recovery, reactor maintenance, distillation column management, hydrogenation processes, and chemical production.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols during all aspects of panel operation.
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and optimize plant performance.
• Run shifts per plan, product/batch to be manufactured, available manpower and priorities with respect to dispatch and customer orders.
• Operate the plant via DCS panel and manage field plant activities to comply with QHSSE requirements and conserve resources/utilities/RM.
