Job summary

Accor is seeking a skilled professional painter to maintain and renew the interiors and furnishings of our hospitality properties. You will apply paint, stains and finishes, following colour schemes and brand standards to ensure a premium look and durable protection.

You should have at least 2 years of experience in hospitality or commercial painting, proficiency with brushes, rollers and spray equipment, and a strong eye for detail while working safely with PPE in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a professional painter, preferably in hospitality or commercial settings.
• Proficiency in painting techniques, color mixing, application methods and surface prep.
• Extensive knowledge of different paint types, finishes and their uses.
• Experience with timber treatments and specialty coating applications.
• Strong attention to detail with high-quality, consistent results.
• Ability to stand, walk, lift, carry, kneel and climb ladders for extended periods.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic understanding of safety procedures and proper handling of painting materials.

Job Description

• Able to apply paint, stain, varnish, enamel, etc. to property walls, ceilings, and furniture.
• Able to effectively use brushes, spray guns, or rollers.
• Responsible for maintaining property color scheme specifications.
• Responsible for maintaining and matching shades of particular areas.
• Apply primers or sealers to prepare new surfaces, such as bare wood or metal, for finish coats.
• Remove old finishes by stripping, sanding, wire brushing, burning, or using water and/or abrasive blasting.
• Cover surfaces with appropriate material for protection during painting and post appropriate paint signs.
• Clean up and store paint and painting tools and equipment in appropriate areas.
• Use proper equipment, wear appropriate personal protective clothing (PPE), and employ correct lifting procedures, as necessary, to avoid injury.
