Job summary

Intas is seeking an experienced packaging operations lead to manage finished product packaging in compliance with cGMP/EU-GMP/USFDA and company policies, ensuring packaging of commercial, validation, and stability batches per approved documentation.

You will review packaging documents, lead recruitment and training of packaging staff, oversee deviations and investigations, qualify equipment, drive yield improvements, coordinate with QA/QC/R&D and other functions, and schedule packaging

Responsibilities

• Manage finished product packaging operations in compliance with cGMP/EU-GMP/USFDA.
• Ensure packaging of commercial, validation, and stability batches per approved documentation.
• Review and approve packaging-related documents, SOPs, protocols, SPRs, and TPRs.
• Review packaging artwork for new and existing products.
• Lead recruitment, training, supervision, and performance management of packaging staff.
• Handle deviations, change controls, investigations, and GMP compliance activities.
• Review and approve production and GMP records.
• Ensure qualification, calibration, validation, and re-validation of packaging equipment.
• Approve/reject NCRs based on compliance impact assessment.
• Manage automatic packaging lines (IMA PG) and new equipment qualification (DQ/IQ/OQ/PQ).
• Ensure cleaning validation and execution of validation protocols.
• Maintain GMP standards and housekeeping in the packaging department.
• Plan packaging schedules and optimize batch sizes for cost effectiveness.
• Coordinate with QA, QC, R&D, Engineering, PPMC, Warehouse, and other functions.
• Ensure timely documentation, GMP implementation, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Drive yield improvement and uninterrupted packaging operations.
• Schedule packaging activities based on production demand.
