Qualifications

• Experience managing packaging components in a private label or contract manufacturing setup is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor inventory levels of all packaging materials across multiple SKUs and production lines.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Production Planning, and Warehousing teams to forecast demand and ensure timely replenishment.
• Implement and maintain inventory control systems, including FIFO, cycle counts, and inventory audits.

Job Summary

The Packaging Materials Inventory Manager will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end inventory management of all packaging materials used in our manufacturing processes. This role ensures that packaging components such as bottles, jars, caps, boxes, labels, and cartons are available in the right quantity, quality, and timeline to support uninterrupted production while minimizing waste and cost.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor inventory levels of all packaging materials across multiple SKUs and production lines.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Production Planning, and Warehousing teams to forecast demand and ensure timely replenishment.
• Implement and maintain inventory control systems, including FIFO, cycle counts, and inventory audits.
• Track and report on packaging material usage, wastage, shrinkage, and shelf life.
• Maintain accurate inventory records using ERP software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).
• Liaise with suppliers to address quality issues or discrepancies in deliveries.
• Collaborate with R&D and Product Development teams during new product launches to ensure packaging availability.
• Ensure all packaging materials meet regulatory compliance and internal quality standards.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives in inventory management processes.
