Position Overview

We are seeking a proactive and detail‑oriented Packaging Inventory Manager to oversee the end‑to‑end management of packaging materials inventory. This role is critical to ensuring optimal stock levels, minimizing waste, and aligning inventory with production needs across all product lines.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage stock levels of all packaging materials including bottles, tubes, jars, cartons, labels, etc.
• Forecast packaging requirements based on production schedules, sales projections, and historical usage data.
• Coordinate with procurement and production teams to ensure timely availability of materials.
• Maintain accurate inventory records in ERP systems and conduct regular audits.
• Develop and implement inventory control procedures to prevent stockouts, overstocking, and obsolescence.
• Collaborate with suppliers and vendors for on‑time delivery and quality assurance of packaging materials.
• Ensure proper storage, handling, and labeling in compliance with GMP and company standards.
• Generate inventory reports and KPIs for management review.
• Participate in sustainability initiatives by optimizing packaging utilization and reducing waste.

Qualifications & Skills

• Strong knowledge of inventory management systems (ERP/SAP/Tally)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, etc.)
• Understanding of packaging materials used in cosmetics/skincare/oral care
• Familiarity with supply chain, warehousing, and logistics
