Job summary

CES in Chennai is seeking a Lead PACS Administrator to manage enterprise imaging environments, including PACS, RIS, VNA, and Epic integrations.

You will drive automation with Python, SQL, and PowerShell, ensure system uptime, and participate in cloud/hybrid imaging modernization initiatives, while coordinating with radiology and cardiology teams.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on PACS and RIS administration in healthcare settings.
• Strong expertise in DICOM, HL7 v2, and healthcare interoperability.
• Proven experience integrating PACS/RIS with Epic Radiant and/or Epic Cupid.
• Scripting/automation skills in Python, SQL, or PowerShell.
• Experience with cloud-based or hybrid imaging platforms and DR/BC planning.

Responsibilities

• Administer and optimize PACS, RIS, VNA, and enterprise imaging systems, including archiving and worklists.
• Support imaging integrations with Epic Radiant and/or Epic Cupid and resolve interface issues.
• Monitor system health, troubleshoot, and perform root cause analysis.
• Automate routine operations and build dashboards with Python, SQL, and PowerShell.
• Maintain hanging protocols, workflow rules, and data reconciliation processes.
• Develop downtime, disaster recovery, and business continuity procedures.
• Support cloud and hybrid imaging platforms (AWS, Azure, and related tools).

What You'll Do

• Support imaging integrations with Epic Radiant and/or Epic Cupid, and resolve interface, scheduling, and image reconciliation issues.
• Monitor system health and performance, and handle advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
• Automate routine operations and build dashboards and monitoring using tools such as Python, SQL, and PowerShell.
• Maintain hanging protocols, workflow rules, and data reconciliation processes, including patient merges.
• Develop and run downtime, disaster recovery, and business continuity procedures.
• Support cloud and hybrid imaging platforms such as AWS, Azure, Merge Cloud VNA/PACS, Sectra, and Visage.

What We're Looking For

• 8+ years of hands-on PACS and RIS administration in hospitals, healthcare systems, or diagnostic imaging centres.
• Strong expertise in DICOM, HL7 v2, and healthcare interoperability.
• Proven experience integrating PACS/RIS with Epic Radiant and/or Epic Cupid.
• Hands-on support for CT, MRI, X-Ray, and Ultrasound modalities.
• Scripting and automation skills in Python, SQL, or PowerShell.
• Experience with cloud-based or hybrid enterprise imaging platforms, and a strong grasp of downtime and disaster recovery procedures.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, and the ability to lead enterprise imaging initiatives.
