PeopleStrong seeks a Diploma Mechanical/Electrical engineer to plan, supervise and coordinate material handling, installation, testing and commissioning to meet the contract programme. You will liaise with Section Managers, Project Engineers and Superintendents to ensure proper coordination of engineering and construction activities, and facilitate material approvals for the final product.

Diploma Mechanical Engineering (DME) Diploma in Electrical Engineering
To plan, supervise, coordinate material handling, installation works,
testing and commissioning IN ORDER TO meet the contract programme.
- Ensure design changes are effectively coordinated
- Liaise with Section Managers/Project Engineers/Superintendents to
ensure proper coordination of engineering and construction activities
- Facilitate the approval of materials to be incorporated in the final product
? To produce and issue quality control documents (inspection requests)
IN ORDER TO obtain approval from client representatives.
- To examine proposals from vendors and subcontractors IN ORDER TO
Ensure compliance with contract requirements.
- Review and verify technical documents generated by consultants
subcontractors and vendors in accordance with project procedures
? Coordinate with the consultants, subcontractors and external parties to
produce and review shop drawings, schedules, etc., relating to the
construction of the works
- To provide leadership to project supervisory team and assist in
identifying and resolving disputes IN ORDER TO meet contractual
obligation
- To maintain awareness of individual responsibilities for safety and
quality IN ORDER TO meet company targets in safety, environment and
quality.
