Job summary

Edwise International is seeking dynamic Academic Counsellors to guide aspiring students through their overseas education journey from Kolkata, India. The role focuses on counseling, documentation support, and coordinating with universities and students to ensure timely applications.

The ideal candidate is freshers or has up to 1 year of experience, with excellent communication and organizational skills, and a passion for helping students achieve their study abroad goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
• Freshers and up to 1 year experience can apply.
• Experience in overseas education, admissions, counselling, EdTech or customer counselling preferred.

Responsibilities

• Counsel students on study abroad opportunities, universities, courses and career pathways.
• Guide students through admission, application, visa and scholarship processes.
• Assist with documentation, including SOPs, LORs, resumes and financial documents.
• Advise students on scholarship opportunities, eligibility and application requirements.
• Coordinate with students, universities and internal teams to ensure timely application processing.
• Maintain accurate student records and follow up on pending documents and payments.
• Participate in education fairs, seminars and other student engagement activities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with students and partner institutions.
