We are looking for a hands-onFinance & Administration Managerto take ownership of the complete finance and administrative operations for a growing business serving Australian clients. This role is suited for a finance professional with strong accounting fundamentals, practical experience withAustralian accounting and compliance, and the ability to independently manage end-to-end financial operations.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable working as an individual contributor initially, with the opportunity to build and lead a small finance team as the organisation grows.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage completebooks of accountsfor Australian entities using Xero.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records and financial documentation.
- Prepare and support filing ofquarterly GST and BAS returnsin accordance with Australian requirements.
- Perform regular bank, credit card, and general ledger reconciliations.
- Manage month-end closing activities and prepareMIS and management reports.
- Manage accounts receivable, including invoice preparation, tracking, ageing, and collection follow‑ups.
- Manage accounts payable, including bill processing, vendor payments, and ageing analysis.
- Process payroll accurately and within required timelines.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, cash‑flow planning, and other financial planning activities.
- Provide finance‑related insights and reports to senior leadership.
- Communicate directly withAustralian clients and stakeholdersthrough email and calls.
- Handle day-to-day finance and office administration activities.
- Maintain appropriate financial controls, documentation, and accounting processes.
- Identify opportunities to improve finance processes, reporting, and operational efficiency.
- Support the development of finance systems and processes as the organisation grows.
- Mentor and guide junior finance team members when additional resources are introduced.
What Makes You a Great Fit
- 3+ years of relevant experiencein accounting, finance, bookkeeping, or financial operations, with strong hands‑on experience.
- Experience working withAustralian accounting, bookkeeping, or outsourcing environmentsis strongly preferred.
- Experience with UK or US accounting/outsourcing environments will also be considered.
- Strong hands‑on knowledge ofXero accounting software.
- Practical experience managing bookkeeping, reconciliations,AR, AP, payroll, and month‑end closing.
- Working knowledge of AustralianGST and BAS compliance.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Excellent written and spokenEnglish communication skillswith confidence in dealing directly with Australian clients.
- Strong proficiency inMS Excel, including advanced formulas, reporting, and financial analysis.
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, MIS reporting, and financial administration is an advantage.
- Familiarity withHubSpotor similar business/CRM platforms is a plus.
- Prior experience mentoring or managing junior finance professionals is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, organisation, and financial discipline.
- Ability to work independently and take complete ownership of financial operations.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
- Comfortable workingonsite in Surat from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday.
- Ability to work effectively with senior leadership and international clients in a professional business environment.
