Qualifications

4–8 years of QA Automation experience required.
Hands-on Mobile Automation using Appium for Android & iOS.
Strong experience with automated testing of native, hybrid and mobile web apps.
Proficiency in REST Assured API automation.
Experience building and maintaining BDD/POM-based automation frameworks.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for Android and iOS apps using Appium.
Automate functional, regression, smoke, sanity, and end-to-end test scenarios.
Validate Telecom customer journeys including onboarding, authentication, recharge, billing, plan management, and self-service workflows.
Create and execute API automation suites using REST Assured.
Integrate automation with CI/CD pipelines and support Agile delivery teams.

Job Summary

Seeking a Mobile Automation Engineer with strong experience in Android and iOS automation testing using Appium, Java, Selenium, and REST Assured. The candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining automation frameworks, validating Telecom customer journeys, and leveraging AI-assisted tools to improve testing efficiency and quality.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for Android and iOS applications using Appium.
Automate functional, regression, smoke, sanity, and end-to-end test scenarios.
Validate Telecom customer journeys including onboarding, authentication, recharge, billing, plan management, and self-service workflows.
Develop and enhance automation frameworks using Java, Selenium, TestNG/JUnit, Cucumber BDD, and Page Object Model (POM).
Create and execute API automation suites using REST Assured.
Perform testing across real devices, emulators, simulators, and multiple OS versions.
Automate mobile gestures including swipe, scroll, drag-and-drop, pinch, zoom, and long-press actions.
Analyze defects, troubleshoot failures, and perform log analysis using Android Logcat and Xcode.
Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines and support Agile delivery teams.
Utilize AI tools such as GitHub Copilot and Microsoft Copilot for test case generation, script development, code optimization, and validation of AI-generated outputs.
