Job summary

Bright Now! Dental is seeking an experienced Oral Surgery Registered Dental Assistant to travel with the same team to multiple offices, delivering quality patient care and supporting surgeons across locations.

The role involves pre-op/post-op instruction, anesthesia support, and vast intraoperative responsibilities. Competitive pay, signing bonus, and full-time benefits are offered. Must be WA RDA-licensed and BLS-certified.

Qualifications

• Washington RDA license is required to practice.
• Current BLS certification is required for patient safety.
• At least 1 year of Oral Surgery or Periodontics experience.
• DAANCE/IV sedation certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for surgery, ensure comfort, and provide pre-op and post-op instructions.
• Assist the oral surgeon during procedures including extractions, implants, bone grafts, and IV sedation.
• Perform pre-op vital signs, assess patients, evaluate airway, and ensure sedation readiness.
• Monitor patients under IV sedation or general anesthesia under surgeon supervision.
• Document anesthesia records in real time and maintain clinical charts.
• Prepare and sterilize surgical rooms, instruments, and equipment per OSHA standards.
• Process and capture X-rays, CBCT scans, and intraoral photos as needed.
• Manage instruments, trays, and inventory; ensure proper setup and turnover.
• Support emergency protocols and assist with complication management.
