Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services is seeking a Oracle PeopleSoft developer with 4-8 years of experience to design, develop, test, and support PeopleSoft customizations across FSCM/HCM modules.

You will work with PeopleCode, Application Designer, Engine, Integration Broker, and Process Scheduler, and utilize SQL/PLSQL, BI Publisher, SQR/XML Publisher, and REST/Web Services integrations in a Mumbai-based role.

Job description

Minimum 4-8 years of experience in Oracle PeopleSoft technical development and support.

Strong hands-on experience with:

• PeopleCode
• Application Designer
• Application Engine
• Integration Broker
• Process Scheduler

Experience in developing and customizing PeopleSoft applications across FSCM and/or HCM modules.

Strong expertise in:

• PeopleSoft Query
• BI Publisher
• SQR Reports
• XML Publisher

Hands-on experience with Oracle Database, SQL, and PL/SQL development.

Experience in inbound and outbound integrations using:

• Integration Broker
• REST APIs
• Web Services
• File-based interfaces

Knowledge of PeopleTools upgrades, PUM updates, retrofitting, migrations, and code merge activities.

Ability to analyze technical requirements and prepare technical design documents.

Experience working in implementation, enhancement, rollout, and support projects.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and deploy PeopleSoft customizations and enhancements.

Develop technical objects including:

• Application Engine Programs
• SQR Reports
• BI Publisher Reports
• PS Queries

Configure and support Integration Broker interfaces with internal and external systems.

Perform data conversion, migration, and upgrade activities.

Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.

Participate in technical design discussions and effort estimation.

Prepare technical specifications, unit test documents, and deployment plans.

Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and production deployments.

Coordinate with functional consultants and business users to understand requirements.
