Job summary

Newgen in Mumbai requires a WebLogic and Oracle HTTP Server (OHS) Administrator with 2-3 years of hands-on middleware experience. You will manage WebLogic domains, OHS environments, deployments, patching, installations, SSL certificates, and daily monitoring.

You will perform health checks, domain/clustering tasks, OHS setups, Opatching, JDBC/JMS configuration, and participate in issue resolution with the app, DB, and network teams.

Qualifications

• Experience with WebLogic Server 12c/14c: installation, domain creation, clustering, deployments, JDBC/JMS configuration.
• Experience with Oracle HTTP Server (OHS): installation, routing, SSL setup.
• Opatching experience for applying PSU/CPU patches.
• Knowledge of JDBC datasource creation and testing.
• Cluster configuration and managed server tuning.
• Unix/Linux command proficiency for monitoring and logs.

Job Summary

We are seeking a WebLogic and Oracle HTTP Server (OHS) Administrator with 2-3 years of hands-on experience in middleware administration. The candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining WebLogic domains and OHS environments, performing deployments, patching, installations, and daily monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily health checks of WebLogic domains and OHS instances.
• Manage WebLogic domain creation, cluster configuration, and managed server setup.
• Perform WebLogic 14c and OHS installation, configuration, and environment setup.
• Execute Opatching (Oracle Patch Utility) for WebLogic and OHS to ensure environments are up-to-date and secure.
• Configure and manage datasources (JDBC) for database connectivity.
• Support application deployments (WAR, EAR and perform post-deployment verification.
• Perform start/stop operations for WebLogic managed servers and OHS services.
• Monitor JVM health, thread utilization, and server performance metrics.
• Troubleshoot deployment issues, startup failures, and application connectivity problems.
• Manage and update SSL certificates, keystores, and truststores in WebLogic and OHS.
• Maintain and monitor JMS modules, connection factories, and queues.
• Support patching activities, environment refreshes, and backup tasks.
• Coordinate with application, database, and network teams for issue resolution.
• Prepare and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs), incident reports, and deployment documents.
