Job summary

KLDiscovery seeks an Oracle HCM Techno‑Functional Manager to lead the design, development, and support of Oracle HCM Cloud solutions. You will bridge HR and IT, driving custom development, integrations, and advanced capabilities across HR modules.

You will mentor a small team, own project delivery, and collaborate with HR, IT, and Finance leadership to guide strategic system initiatives in a global environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, HR, Business, or related field
• 8+ years of experience in Oracle HCM Cloud
• 5+ years in techno‑functional or development‑heavy role
• Proven experience with Oracle Fusion HCM modules
• Hands‑on development experience: Fast Formulas, HDL, BI Publisher/OTBI, Integrations (OIC, APIs)
• Experience leading projects and technical teams

The Oracle HCM Techno‑Functional Manager leads the design, development, implementation, and support of Oracle HCM Cloud solutions. This role combines strong functional HR process expertise, hands‑on technical development capabilities, and team leadership to deliver scalable, integrated workforce solutions.

This position serves as the primary bridge between HR business stakeholders and IT, while also driving custom development, integrations, and advanced system capabilities within the Oracle HCM ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

• Leadership & Delivery
• Lead and mentor a small team of HCM analysts/developers
• Own delivery of Oracle HCM Cloud projects, enhancements, and production support
• Manage multiple workstreams, including configuration, development, and integrations
• Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for Oracle HCM Cloud capabilities
• Partner with HR, IT, and Finance leadership to drive strategic system initiatives

Functional Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze business requirements from HR stakeholders
• Design and configure Oracle HCM Cloud modules:
  • Core HR
  • Payroll
  • Absence Management
  • Talent Management & Recruiting
• Translate business processes into scalable system solutions
• Lead requirements workshops, solution design sessions, and UAT cycles
• Ensure alignment with Oracle HCM Cloud best practices

Technical & Development Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain custom HCM Cloud solutions, including:
  • Fast Formulas (Payroll, Absence, Compensation logic)
  • HCM Extracts and data interfaces
  • BI Publisher reports and OTBI dashboards

Data & Integration Development

• Design and build integrations between Oracle HCM and external systems using:
  • Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)
  • REST/SOAP APIs
• Develop and execute data loads using:
  • HCM Data Loader (HDL)
  • Spreadsheet loaders and data conversion tools
• Lead data migration strategies for implementations

Release & Development Lifecycle

• Lead development lifecycle activities:
  • Code/configuration design
  • Unit testing, SIT, and UAT support
  • Deployment and release management
• Assist in management of quarterly Oracle Cloud updates (impact analysis, regression, fixes)

Required Qualifications
