Qualifications

Responsibilities

Lead Business Analyst Corporate Applications

Job Description Summary

Greystar is seeking a highly experienced Lead Business Analyst Corporate Applications with 15+ years of experience and a deep background in Oracle Fusion Financial modules. The ideal candidate will architect, support, and evolve Oracle Fusion applications across our global operations, including users in the US, Canada, APAC, Europe, and India. This role demands strong communication skills, deep functional and technical expertise, and the ability to independently own complex cross-module solution design, while providing technical direction to the broader Corporate Applications team.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a senior point of contact for solution architecture, functional design, and technical direction across Oracle Fusion Financial modules
• Own end-to-end solution design for complex, cross-module integrations (GL, AP, AR, FA, CE, IC, XLA) and enterprise-wide financial system initiatives
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to Business Analysts and technical team members within the Corporate Applications team
• Partner with senior IT and business stakeholders across global regions to translate business strategy into scalable Oracle Fusion architecture
• Drive resolution of complex, escalated issues and lead root-cause analysis for systemic problems
• Lead month-end and year-end financial close process design and improvement from a systems architecture perspective
• Evaluate and architect solutions for change requests, including configuration strategy, integration design, and system testing approach
• Author and review functional/technical specifications, solution architecture documents, and design standards for enhancements and integrations
• Define and enforce data integrity, security, and compliance standards across Oracle Fusion modules
• Represent Corporate Applications in enterprise architecture discussions and decisions affecting Oracle Fusion roadmap
• Support global time zones, with primary working hours aligned to UK business hours (typically 1:30 PM – 10:30 PM IST)

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, or a related field
• CA (Chartered Accountant) equivalent knowledge required — strong grounding in accounting principles, financial reporting, and statutory compliance
• 15+ years of overall Oracle ERP experience, with a substantial portion — i.e., 8+ years — in Oracle Fusion in a Solution Architect or equivalent senior capacity
• Proven track record architecting solutions across multiple Oracle Fusion Financial modules (GL, AP, AR, FA, CE, IC, XLA) at an enterprise scale
• Deep expertise in subledger accounting (SLA), period-close architecture, and cross-module reconciliation design
• Demonstrated experience leading large-scale ERP implementations, upgrades, or transformation initiatives
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with experience engaging senior stakeholders across IT and Finance
• Strong track record of technical mentorship and leading distributed/global teams
• Ability to operate independently at a strategic level while remaining hands-on when needed

Preferred Qualifications

• Oracle Cloud certification in Financials
• Experience with treasury/banking integrations (e.g., Kyriba) and OIC
• Familiarity with ticketing/PM tools like ServiceNow, JIRA, or Asana
• Prior experience in a global shared services or multi-entity corporate environment
