Job summary

NTT DATA seeks an Oracle Functional Specialist - Financials to join our PAN India team. You will lead workshops, design sessions and implement Oracle Fusion Financials modules across GL, AP, AR, FA, and more.

Strong accounting background with 8+ years’ experience is required, along with mentoring and client-facing responsibilities. You will prepare design documents, drive CRPs/SIT/UAT, and coordinate with technical teams for integrations.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Oracle Fusion Financials (GL, AP, AR, FA, Cash Management, SLA, Expenses, Tax, Budgetary control, intercompany).
• Minimum 2 end-to-end Fusion Financials implementation exposures.
• Strong accounting background; MBA/CA/CMA/CPA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead requirement gathering, business process workshops, and solution design sessions.
• Configure and implement Oracle Fusion Financials modules.
• Prepare FDDs, SDDs, configuration workbooks, and process documentation.
• Lead CRPs, SIT, UAT and Go-Live activities.
• Collaborate with technical teams for integrations, reports, data conversions, and extensions.
• Provide production support, issue resolution, and root cause analysis.
• Guide clients through Oracle quarterly updates and regression testing.
• Conduct end-user training and knowledge transfer.
• Mentor junior consultants and review project deliverables.
• Act as primary functional contact for clients and internal stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

  • Analyze business requirements and recommend Oracle Fusion Financials best practices.
  • Configure and implement Oracle Fusion Financials modules.
  • Prepare Functional Design Documents (FDDs), Solution Design Documents (SDDs), configuration workbooks, and business process documentation.
  • Lead Conference Room Pilots (CRPs), System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and Go-Live activities.
  • Collaborate with technical teams for integrations, reports, data conversions, and extensions.
  • Review functional specifications, test scenarios, and configuration deliverables.
