Job summary

NTT DATA is seeking an experienced Oracle DBA to join our Bangalore team. You will configure and maintain Oracle databases, tune performance, and manage high-availability environments (RAC, Data Guard). The role requires strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work independently with global stakeholders. Local support and client-facing collaboration are key components of this position.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in managing Oracle databases.
• Configure and maintain database servers and processes with health monitoring to ensure performance and security.
• Database performance tuning and planning of high-availability environments (RAC, Data Guard).
• Independently analyze, solve, and resolve issues in real time with end-to-end accountability.
• Refine, automate, track changes and document processes for efficiency and cost optimization.

• 5+ Years of experience in managing Oracle databases.
• Configure and maintain database servers and processes, including monitoring of system health and performance, to ensure high levels of performance, availability, and security.
• Database performance tuning.
• Planning, deploying, maintaining, troubleshooting of high-availability database environments (RAC, Datagaurd, etc.).
• Independently analyze, solve, and correct issues in real time, providing problem resolution end-to-end.
• Refine and automate regular processes, track issues, and document changes, for efficiency and cost optimization.
• Work directly with end customer, business stakeholders as well as technical resources.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, problem solving skills
• Ability to work independently and drive the team
• Ability to multi-task and context-switch effectively between different activities and teams
• Strong ITIL foundation, Continual Service Improvement and Total Quality Management experiences.
