Job summary

Squircle IT Consulting Services is seeking a seasoned Oracle Apps Functional consultant for Oracle E-Business Suite (R12) Financials implementation and support. The role focuses on complex business processes across Order to Cash, Procure to Pay or Record to Report, with emphasis on production support and design validation.

The candidate will work with global teams and business stakeholders, ensuring smooth operations and effective end-user support within our ERP framework.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent.
• 5+ years techno-functional experience with Oracle EBS R12, including key modules.
• Experience in production support of Oracle EBS R12 in a distributed environment.
• Strong knowledge of ERP/BI integration concepts and financials fundamentals.

Responsibilities

Job Summary:

• Ability to serve as the internal application consultant and champion to our business process owners.
• Understand and represent the complexities, interdependencies and leading practices for implementing Oracle Financials business processes for the respective process stream (Order to Cash, Procure to Pay or Record to Report) across our core modules.
• Facilitate and document business requirements, fit/gap analysis and functional design.
• Design and build specifications appropriate to business objectives.
• Assess impacts of system changes and ensure effective delivery of application functionality and integration.
• Identify and communicate opportunities to improve current procedures and processes.
• Design and develop operational workflows, including the development and execution of roll out strategies, cut-over/transition plans, end-user training and support, and end-user documentation.
• Provide assistance to our Oracle Financials user community by addressing functional anomalies, and end user questions/ issues.

Position Description Expedia is currently seeking a seasoned senior Oracle Applications Functional consultant for our global Oracle R12 Financials implementation and support. This position will play a critical role in supporting smooth operations of Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS).

Essential Duties

• Act as Subject Matter Expert on Oracle EBS and related technologies
• Driving resolution of production support issues predominantly in Order to Cash
• Regularly ensuring good health of production systems and data integrity with upstream/downstream systems
• Effectively resolve problems and roadblocks as they occur, consistently following through on details while driving innovation as well as issue resolution and anticipates and prevents problems before they occur.
• Debug complex issues and present their impact along with recommended solution to users and management
• Collaborate with Developers, Program Managers, Testers and Production Support Engineers to implement innovative technical solutions via iterative approach reducing time to delivery
• Be integral member in signing off the design and solution developed by development teams before accepting the change in Production
• Supporting key business processes/activities including but not limited to Month end and Yearend support activities to Business users
• Utilizing past experience to implement innovative approaches to help improve business processes and system performance
• Manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, prioritize workload effectively, and thrive in a dynamic environment
• Improve the enterprise systems by leveraging existing solutions when building new technology
• Collaborate with non ERP development teams to design efficient, supportable and scalable solutions

Work Experience and Education Guidelines

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information systems or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of techno functional experience in Oracle Applications including exposure on tools like PL/SQL, Data Loader, Forms, Reports, Workflow, SOA Web services, WebADI
• Strong hands on functional knowledge of Oracle Applications (R12) and good knowledge of financials concepts
• Must be having prior experience in Production Support of Oracle EBS R12 environment in distributed environment

Core Competencies

• Excellent exposure of Oracle Applications predominantly in Order to Cash
• Hands on Experience in Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12 with strong knowledge of Oracle E-Business Architecture and technical aspects of Oracle Applications
• Highly self-motivated, detail oriented and committed individual with an ability to take up initiatives and execute tasks with full ownership and able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment with minimal direction.
• Good functional knowledge of different modules of Oracle Apps including but not limited to Trade Management, OM, AR, GL, AP, PO, IBY, CE, FA and understanding of data flow across modules and related technologies
• Demonstrated ability to work with distributed teams across multiple time-zones
• Should have excellent analytical and problem solving skills (ability to extract, summarize & synthesize facts and suggest the best possible solution) and be a Self-Starter
• Triaging and analyzing application, data and upstream/downstream integration issues and Monitor Alert notifications and System logs and take appropriate action
• Excellent communications skills (Written and verbal) and should be able to independently engage with business stakeholders throughout the ticket lifecycle
• Accurately establish the length and difficulty of tasks and projects, set reasonable objectives and goals, anticipate and adjust for problems/roadblocks and measure results against goals
• Ability to orchestrate multiple activities simultaneously.
