Job summary

Secure Minds in Bengaluru is seeking an L3 Oracle Exadata DMA to own and support enterprise Exadata platforms (X5-X9) across Bengaluru, Pune, and Coimbatore. You will lead full-stack Exadata patching, health monitoring, and responsible for high availability, security, and compliance.

The role covers RAC, Multitenant, Data Guard administration; RMAN/Flashback backups including PITR; performance tuning and SQL optimization; and 24/7 on-call coverage.

Qualifications

• 8–14+ years Oracle DBA experience with 5+ years on Oracle Exadata
• 10+ years Oracle RAC administration including patching, Multitenant (CDB/PDB), Data Guard, backup/recovery
• Full-stack Exadata patching & upgrades across compute nodes, storage cells, Grid Infrastructure, InfiniBand switches

Responsibilities

• Manage and support Exadata platforms across Bengaluru, Pune, and Coimbatore
• Lead full-stack Exadata patching and health monitoring (ExaCheck)
• Administer RAC, Multitenant (CDB/PDB), and Data Guard environments
• RMAN/Flashback-based backup and recovery including PITR
• Tune database performance and SQL in large RAC/Exadata deployments
• Conduct security vulnerability assessment and remediation across Exadata stack
• Provide 24/7 rotational on-call coverage

You’ll lead full-stack Exadata patching (YUM, Grid Infrastructure, Oracle Database, Storage Cells, InfiniBand switches) and ExaCheck-driven health monitoring.

The role spans RAC, Multitenant (CDB/PDB), and Data Guard administration; RMAN/Flashback-based backup and recovery including PITR; database performance tuning and SQL optimization; and security vulnerability assessment and remediation across the full Exadata stack, with 24/7 rotational on-call coverage.
