Job summary

Doyensys is seeking an experienced Oracle ERP - Senior Project Manager to lead and deliver Oracle Cloud ERP and EBS implementations from Chennai. You will oversee a team of consultants and client personnel, manage budgets, milestones, and risks, and ensure alignment across technical and functional teams.

Ideal candidates bring 8+ years in Oracle ERP with 4+ years in PM of Oracle Cloud/EBS projects, strong stakeholder management, and hands-on experience with AIM/OUM methodologies.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of Oracle ERP experience with 4+ years in PM of Oracle Cloud implementations.
• Must have managed minimum 3 end-to-end Oracle EBS/ Cloud implementations.
• Strong Project Management capabilities with AIM/OUM methodologies.
• Knowledgeable on AI tools and Oracle offerings.

Responsibilities

• Involves a range of duties, including project planning, communication, coordination, issue management, risk reduction, escalation, and budget tracking.
• Liaison between technical, functional, and client-side resources during implementation and post-implementation support.
• Successfully manage implementation of Oracle Cloud/EBS projects.
• Manage project planning, budgeting, and execution.
• Define and manage project plans, milestones, budgets, and engagement profitability.
• Manage changes to the project scope, schedule, and costs.
• Monitor scope creep and ensure alignment among stakeholders.

Technical Expertise

Must Have Skills:

• 10+ years of Oracle ERP experience consisting of at least 4+ years of Project Management experience in managing Oracle Cloud implementations.
• Must have managed minimum 3 end-to-end Oracle EBS/ Cloud implementations.
• Overall strong Project Management capabilities and proven experience in delivering complex Oracle Applications projects using Oracle AIM and OUM methodologies.
• Knowledgeable on AI tools and offerings from Oracle / other product vendors
• High level functional knowledge of Oracle ERP or SCM Applications.
• Strong knowledge of implementing Oracle Cloud ERP projects end to end.
• Experience in Project Planning tools like Microsoft Projects.
• Strong experience in managing budgets, commercials, and Customer experience.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Excellent organization, documentation, and communication skills.
• Be flexible in working hours for overlap India late evening/night hours
• Customer focused with a pro-active and responsive approach.
• Ability to manage more than 1 project in parallel

Good To Have Skills :

• Certifications in EBS Finance Modules

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage customer expectations and be able to closely monitor for scope creep.
• Managing the agreed scope of the project to ensure that Change Requests are clearly called out, agreed upon and adjusted against the timeline.
• Identify inter-dependencies between the various stakeholder groups to ensure all are aligned and risks are identified, mitigated, and communicated.
• Perform Resource Management, Resource Utilization, Planning, Estimation, Release Management and Risk Management.
• Work with all stakeholders to monitor and track progress of workstreams to ensure successful go-live.
• Closely monitor and report on project budget.
• Drive Process improvements in engagements
