Job summary

Cerebra is seeking an experienced Oracle EBS R12 Financials Functional Consultant in Bangalore to lead AR configuration, tax setup, and solution design for complex ECC engagements.

You will gather requirements, map legacy AR processes, and drive end-to-end configuration, testing, and post‑go live support with a focus on AR-to-GL accounting and tax compliance.

Qualifications

• 8 to 12 years of Oracle EBS Financials experience.
• Strong expertise in Accounts Receivable (AR).
• Experience in Oracle E-Business Tax for US sales tax.
• AR configuration, customer master, transaction types and sources.
• BR100 / MD120 experience and AIM documentation.
• SIT/UAT/Production support and go-live activities.

Responsibilities

• Lead requirement-gathering workshops with business, accounting, and IT stakeholders.
• Analyze legacy AR processes and map to Oracle EBS R12.
• Configure AR including customer master, transaction types, sources, AutoAccounting, payment terms, receipt methods.
• Configure and validate Oracle E-Business Tax for US sales tax.
• Prepare BR100, MD120, configuration documents, test scripts, and training materials.
• Support SIT, QA, UAT, defect resolution, production readiness, cutover, deployment, and hypercare.
• Coordinate AR-to-GL accounting validation and Create Accounting activities.
• Provide user training, walkthroughs, knowledge transfer, SOPs, and BAU transition support.

Oracle EBS R12 Financials Functional Consultant

Experience: 8 to 12 Years

Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Oracle EBS R12 Financials Functional Consultant with strong expertise in Accounts Receivable (AR) and E-Business Tax. The candidate will be responsible for requirement gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support for Oracle EBS R12 Financials implementations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead requirement-gathering workshops with business, accounting, and IT stakeholders.
• Analyze legacy AR processes and map customer, invoice, receipt, and tax requirements to Oracle EBS R12.
• Configure Oracle AR including customer master, transaction types, transaction sources, AutoAccounting, payment terms, receipt methods, and customer profiles.
• Configure and validate Oracle E-Business Tax for US sales tax, including tax regimes, rates, rules, and exemptions.
• Perform fit-gap analysis and recommend standard Oracle functionality.
• Prepare BR100, MD120, configuration documents, process flows, fit-gap documents, test scripts, and training materials.
• Support SIT, QA, UAT, defect resolution, production readiness, cutover, deployment, and hypercare.
• Coordinate AR-to-GL accounting validation and Create Accounting activities.
• Provide user training, walkthroughs, knowledge transfer, SOPs, and BAU transition support.
