Job summary

Centroid is seeking an experienced Oracle Core DBA with GoldenGate to manage high-availability databases and GG replication. This full-time role requires hands-on Oracle DBA skills, including data recovery, clustering, and security, with experience in GoldenGate 19c/23ai environments.

The position involves upgrading and re-setup of GoldenGate with zero data loss, and active participation in on-call bridge calls to resolve GG issues. US-hours ET shifts are required.

Qualifications

• 10+ years total experience and 7+ years in Core DBA with GoldenGate.
• Strong fundamentals in all aspects of DBA responsibilities.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle GoldenGate 19c and 23ai environments.
• Experience with data recovery, clustering, and security configuration.
• Experience with GoldenGate upgrades and zero data loss setups.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure and administer Oracle servers, including n-node clusters and data recovery.
• Install, configure, troubleshoot and support GoldenGate replication across Oracle versions.
• Administer, maintain, and support Oracle Database environments and GG replication infrastructure.
• Hands-on work with GoldenGate 19c and 23ai environments.
• Join bridge calls and provide support for troubleshooting GoldenGate issues.
• Work experience in EXADATA.

Location: Hyderabad, Telangana, India

Roles and responsibilities:

• Overall experience be 10+years and relevant 7+ years in Core DBA with Golden Gate
• Strong fundamentals in all aspects of DBA responsibilities.
• Install, configure and administer Oracle servers, including the design, configuration and operation of n-node clusters, data recovery, and user/group/role definition
• Install, Configure, troubleshoot and support GoldenGate Replication between different version of Oracle Database and across GoldenGate releases.
• Responsible for the administration, maintenance, and support of Oracle Database environments and Oracle GoldenGate replication infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle GoldenGate 19c and 23ai environments.
• Perform GoldenGate Upgrade/re-setup replication w/out any data loss.
• Additionally, responsible for joining bridge calls and providing support for troubleshooting GoldenGate (GG) issues.
• Work experience in EXADATA

Work Timings:

Fri & Mon 8-hour shifts (9am to 5pm ET), Sat & Sun 12-hour shifts (9am to 9pm ET)

Soft Skills:

Education:

• BA/BS in a related technical field; or the equivalent in education and work experience
