Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Core Database Administrator (DBA) with a strong background in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) . The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing enterprise database environments, ensuring high availability, security, performance, and scalability across on-prem and cloud platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Administer, monitor, and maintain core database systems across OCI and GCP environments.

Perform database installation, configuration, upgrades, patching, and migrations.

Manage database performance tuning, capacity planning, and optimization.

Implement and manage backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies.

Ensure database security, access controls, encryption, and compliance with organizational policies.

Troubleshoot database issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures.

Support high availability (HA) and replication technologies (e.g., RAC, Data Guard, cloud-native HA).

Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and DevOps teams for smooth deployments.

Automate routine DBA tasks using scripts and cloud-native tools.

Requirements
